It is a competition organised for the pupils of primary schools, middle schools, high schools and colleges students, professional mathematicians and IT specialist, as well as other adults of various professions. Competitors take part in one of the eight age and professional categories. The championship is held from October of one year till May of the consecutive year, with the first two stages held online.
Winners of the National Final, in each category, receive Polish Master’s Diploma in Mathematical and Logical Games and they become part of the Polish team for the International Final and going to the final championship in France.

The competition is addressed to high school students who have a good theoretical background and are passionate about physics and astronomy. The main trophy is, among others, index of Wrocław University of Science and Technology.
The competition has 3 stages. During qualifications, the schools select two students on their own. These students compete to enter the finals in the inter-school stage, solving tasks from the extended physics programme prepared by employees of the Institute of Experimental Physics of University of Wrocław. The top ten participants enter the final, during which they present papers, demonstrate experiments or other forms documenting their work in the field of physics. They are assessed by a jury composed of research workers from Wrocław University of Science and Technology and from University of Wrocław (physicists and astronomers), a representative of the Lower Silesian education superintendent and director of High School nr 10 in Wrocław. The audience award is for the best presentation is awarded by delegations from all participating schools.

On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the magazine’s
“Studia Mathematica” publication by the Lviv school of mathematics, Wrocław University of Science and Technology announced in 2019 the International Competition “Mathematics – our common language” addressed to secondary school students. The University has prepared prizes and awards for the finalists of the competition. |
The winners of the competition have the right to apply for admission to the programme “Remarkably gifted at Wrocław University of Science and Technology” and receive a monthly scholarship ranging from 400 to 700PLN as well as a tutor’s professional supervision for 1 year of study. Additionally, they receive a guarantee of getting a place in student dormitory.
Those interested in taking part in the competition shall fill in application form and tasks of stage I and II which supposed to be sent to the email: matematyka@pwr.edu.pl until 26.05.2025.
Schedule:
- Stage I: correspondence, tasks will be made available on the website on 17.02.2025.
- Stage II: correspondence, tasks will be made available on the website on 17.03.2025.
- The list of participants qualified for the finals along with the tasks to be completed will be posted on the website on 06.06.2025.
- Final stage: correspondence, it is available for those, who have obtained at least 60% of available points form stage I and II. Tasks will be made available on the website on 16.06.2025.
- Participants of the final stage will send the scans of completed tasks in Polish or English to the email matematyka@pwr.edu.pl until 23.06.2025.
- Results announcement: 30.06.2025.

It is a competition organized for primary school students. The aim of the competition is to awaken students’ interest in chemistry, deepen their knowledge of chemistry, improve cognitive skills and introduce students to self-education. The competition belongs to the category of subject knowledge in chemistry together with other science subjects as well as ecological and health education.

The competition is addressed to high school students. The subject of the competition is consistent with the education profile of the Faculty of Microsystem Electronics and Photonics of Wrocław University of Science and Technology. In particular, it concerns electrical engineering, electronics, telecommunications, optoelectronics and photonics and mechatronics.

In 2016, under the agreement with the Foundation of Wrocław Mathematicians, Wrocław University of Science and Technology took over, for an infinite period, the exclusive organization of the regional edition of the “Lower Silesia Sudoku Championship” competition. On the initiative of Wrocław University of Science and Technology, as of 2016, the honorary patronage over the Lower Silesia Sudoku Championships was taken by the Embassy of Japan in Poland.
The final games are held in 5 categories (grades I-III from primary school, grades IV-VI from primary school, grades VII-VIII from primary school, secondary schools, adults). The elimination and semi-final tasks are classic sudoku of various sizes with possible modifications (irregular sudoku, diagonal sudoku, sequentially, not sequentially and others).

Programme is addressed to the pupils of schools located in Warsaw and Wrocław.
The aim of the program is to popularise science and technical studies among young people, as well as to develop young talents in this field.
The academy’s programme consists of two stages. In the first stage, teachers coordinating the program in given
schools register their students for workshops conducted by students from research clubs from leading
technical universities in Poland. In the second stage the pupils submit their ideas for an invention competition. The culmination of the programme is selection of winners of the invention competition. The jury awards 3 teams from
Warsaw and Wrocław.
The workshops are co-organised by project partners: Warsaw University of Technology, Wrocław University of Science and Technology,
Military University of Technology, Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology, Patent Office of the Republic of Poland,
And Wrocław Technology Park.

The competition is aimed mainly at students of technical secondary schools studying in the profession of a device technician and
renewable energy systems.
National Renewable Energy Knowledge Competition is organised by the Upper Secondary School Complex no. 1 in Sieradz.
The content-related patronage over the competition is held by the Faculty of Mechanical and Power Engineering of Wrocław University of Science and Technology. The honorary patronage is held by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Ministry of Energetics.
This competition is intended to be transformed into nationwide Olympics.
