Admission process
Check out the study offer and choose the proper field of study.
Register online in the IRC system, fill in all the required data, personal data as in your passport, and upload a formal photo.
Pay the application fee to the account provided in the IRC system and upload the confirmation of payment.
Upload diploma certificate / degree certificate with mark-sheets in IRC system, and next submit an online application.
Wait for application assessment and confirmation of meeting entry requirements - Offer Letter and read it carefully. Upload remaining documents in the IRC system.
If you need the confirmation of accommodation, check once again if you provided us information in the IRC system.
After receiving the tuition fee on our account (if applicable), we will issue the Student Status Certificate and Conditional Decision. Next download documents from the IRC system, read them carefully. The original documents can also be collected personally at the International Relations Office (IRO) or received via post.
Book visa appointment in Embassy/Consulate. Provide the visa meeting and/or arrival details to the IRC system.
Submit originals and Xerox copies of all required documents within deadlines to the IRO, Division of Foreign Students Admission and Support. Schedule the meeting in the IRC system.

- Bachelor Degree in related field.

- document confirming the required knowledge of Polish or English for study purposes: medium of instruction letter / language certificate / Skype interview
- medical certificate – only for candidates applying for the Faculty of Chemistry and Faculty of Geoengineering, Mining and Geology, Faculty of Fundamental Problems of Technology – Technical Physics
- declaration of not holding Polish citizenship (template is available in IRC system)
- portfolio – only for candidates applying for the M.Sc. in Architecture. EXAMPLE
ENGLISH LANGUAGE
Foreign prospective student applying for study in English should provide:
- certificate of English proficiency at the level of at least 6.5 IELTS points
General, or at least 6 IELTS Academic credits, or at least 87 TOEFL credits, or
Cambridge English language certificates: B2 First (at least C grade), C1 Advanced (each
grades) C2 Proficiency, or FCE, CAE, CPE or Test of English for International certificate
Communication (TOEIC) – at least 785 points, or PTE General at least
level 3, - certificate of completion of an English language course at the level of at least B2
run by a language school at a Polish public university, - certificate from the school/university stating that the completed studies were conducted in English;
If a prospective student is not a holder of any certificate, there is a possibility to:
- graduate from a Preparatory English Language Course in the Department of Polish Language for Foreigners at WUST, with an exam at the B2 level;
- take an interview in English at WUST via Skype. The grade obtained on this interview should show the knowledge of the English language at a level of at least B2. Registration for the interview takes place in the IRC system during recruitment.
POLISH LANGUAGE
Foreign prospective student applying for study in Polish should present a certificate confirming the knowledge of the Polish language at the level at least B2.
The confirmation of knowledge of the Polish language is:
- a certificate of completion of a preparatory course to start education in the language
Polish in institutions designated by the Minister of Education and Science, - a certificate of knowledge of the Polish language issued by the National Commission for Certifying the Knowledge of Polish as a Foreign Language: www.certyfikatpolski.pl,
- a certificate of completion of a preparatory Polish language course in accredited schools
by NAWA in academic centers, - be a holder of a Medium of Instruction Letter from a secondary school/university stating that the completed studies were conducted in Polish;
If a prospective student is not a holder of any certificate, he/she has a possibility to:
- graduate from a Preparatory Polish Language Course in the Department of Foreign Languages at WUST, with an exam at the B2 level;
- take an interview in Polish at WUST via Skype. The grade obtained on this interview should prove the knowledge of the Polish language at a level of at least B2. Registration for the interview takes place in the IRC system during recruitment.
