As per the university’s regulations admission to the given study programme is determined by the position in ranking. To calculate the admissions index, the grades from the prospective student’s certificate, based on which he or she will apply for admissions for studies, are taken into account. The ranking is made based on the admissions index which is calculated according to the following formula:
Ai = Mathematics + Additional subjects1 + 0,1xForeign Language + 0,1xPolishLanguage3
1 additional subjects included in individual fields of study
ADITIONAL SUBJECT | FIELDS OF STUDY
PHYSICS | – All fields of study
BIOLOGY | – Biomedical Engineering – Environmental Protection Technologies |
|
CHEMISTRY | – Biotechnology – Industrial Chemistry and Analytics – Chemistry and Materials Engineering – Mining and Geology |
– Biomedical Engineering – Chemical and Process Engineering- Technology of Fine Chemicals – Environmental Protection Technologies |
GEOGRAPHY | – Geodesy and Cartography – Geoinformatics – Mining and Geology |
|
COMPUTER SCIENCE | – Cyber Security – Geodesy and Cartography – Geoinformatics – IT automation Systems – Algorithmic Computer Science |
– Applied Computer Science – Computer Engineering – Management Engineering – Teleinformatics – Management |
The final score is determined individually after the Foreign Student Admissions Office reviews the applicant’s educational documents. In case of taking exams in several subjects, the more favourable result is added to the Admission Index.
In countries where an external examination may be taken as an additional entrance qualification for first-cycle (Bachelor’s) studies, the result of such an exam may be evaluated at the advanced level (e.g., NMT, CT/CE).
External examination results obtained within the last 5 years are accepted.
