Candidate for bachelor’s degree submits:

  • signed application form printed from the IRK online system
  • copy of document which allows to start the free of charges studies (for example UKR status – a certificate issued no later than one month before submitting the documents, Polish Charter, EU ID)
  • copy of high school certificate with apostille or legalization
  • copy of an additional document (optional) e.g. ZNO/NMT, CT with translation – the additional document should contain the candidate’s name and surname
  • IMPORTANT: candidates from Belarus are obliged to deliver Belarusian high school certificate recognised by Polish education superintendent till 31.10.2024. If the Belarusian high school certificate does not have an apostille, needs to be authenticated by Polish education superintendent.
  • confirmation of knowledge of the Polish language at B2 level (studies in Polish):
    – certificate of completion of a preparatory course to undertake education in Polish in units designated by the competent Minister,
    – certificate of knowledge of the Polish language issued by the State Commission for Certification of Knowledge of Polish as a Foreign Language,
    – certificate of completion of a preparatory Polish language course in academic centers accredited by NAWA,
    – secondary school leaving certificate issued in the Polish education system,
    – high school or university diploma in Polish as the language of instruction.
  • confirmation of knowledge of the English language at B2 level (studies in English):
    – English language certificate at the level of: at least 6.5 IELTS General points or at least 6 IELTS Academic points or at least 87 TOEFL points or Cambridge English language certificates: B2 First (grade of at least C), C1 Advanced (each of the grades ), C2 Proficiency or FCE, CAE, CPE or Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) certificate – at least 785 points or PTE General at least level 3,
    – certificate from the school/university that completed education was conducted in English,
    – certificate of completion of English language course at least B2 level conducted by a language school at Polish public university.
  • You may receive a certificate of Polish or English at B2 level based on a written test and an online interview at Department of Foreign Languages of Wrocław University of Science and Technology.

  • confirmation of payment the admission fee (when the fee has not been registered in the online system)
  • medical certificate issued by Polish occupational doctor stating that there are no contraindications to start the studies in the chosen field and form of study (for candidates applying for the Faculty of Chemistry and Faculty of Geoengineering, Mining and Geology).
    List of clinics in Dolnośląskie Voivodeship (If the candidate does not have a medical certificate, it is necessary to sign the statement that the medical cerificate will be delivered later – to a dean’s office of the faculty). A referral to an occupational medicine doctor, at the candidate’s request, is issued by the Admission Office after registering and paying for the application fee (we currently recommend via e-mail, just write to rekrutacja@pwr.edu.pl and ask for such a referral, it is worth making sure that the clinic accepts the referral scan)
  • parent declaration form (for candidates under the age of 18)

IMPORTANT!

It is necessary to deliver also the original documents to verification.

Translation of documents must be made or certified by a sworn translator or certified by a competent consul of the Republic of Poland in the given country.

 

Questions and answers

Do I have to submit a photo in paper form?

No, you don’t. The photo should only be added in the system during online registration. It should be remembered that the added photo is part of the university student’s personal file and should absolutely comply with administrative standards. We require the recruitment photo to have the same parameters as the photo for the ID card or passport.

Do I have to submit documents in person?

You’re not obliged to submit documents in person. However, it should be remembered that the application form must be filled in and signed by you, and the file with the documents complete. The person submitting all of documents must have a proper power of attorney.

Can I send the documents by post?

It is also possible to send documents by post – preferably by registered mail (the date on the postmark is not decisive). However, you should make sure that in the file that you send to us is everything that we ask of you. Copies od documents must be confirmed by a notary public. The confirmation should be in English.
