The qualification procedure for candidates – Polish citizens with a high school diploma obtained outside Poland is carried out in accordance with the Admission Terms and Procedure/Conditions, taking into account the following changes:
- 5.1 The candidate submits the documents listed in point 2.1. letter “a” and “c – f” of the Admission Terms and Procedure/Conditions and a copy of a certificate or other document obtained outside Poland entitling to apply for admission to studies along with an Apostille or legalization, legally certified by Wrocław University of Science and Technology (for inspection only, submits the originals of the relevant documents).
- 5.2 If the certificate or other document has been recognised by the way of an administrative decision as entitling to apply for admission to studies, the candidate shall submit a copy of the educational superintendent officer’s decision to recognise the certificate or other document as a document confirming the right to apply for admission in the Republic of Poland legally certified by Wrocław University of Science and Technology (for inspection only, one submits the originals of the relevant documents).
- 5.3. In case if the certificate or another document has been recognized as equivalent to the Polish Maturity Certificate, the candidate shall submit a copy of the certificate from the educational superintendents’ office confirming the equivalence of the certificate obtained abroad or another document with the Polish Certificate of Maturity, legally certified by Wrocław University of Science and Technology (for inspection only, one submits the originals of the relevant documents).
- 5.4. The candidate is obliged to provide a copy of the decision referred to in point 5.2 to Admission Office (building C-13, room 1.14) by 31 October of a given year (candidates starting their studies from the winter semester-October intake) or by 31 March of a given year (candidates starting studies from the summer semester-February intake), and in justified cases beyond the candidate’s control – also at a later date, determined by the Rector.
- 5.5. Candidates are admitted in accordance with the applicable admission deadlines for the academic year 2021/2022 (referred to in point 1.11 of the Admission Terms and Procedure/Conditions) according to the threshold value of the Admission Index (AI), which determined admission to studies during the intake in which the candidate applied for admission to university.
- 5.6. The Admission Index (AI) referred to in point 2.2 of the Admission Terms and Procedure/Conditions is calculated by the Admission Office on the basis of documents entitling the candidate to be admitted to the I level studies.
- 5.6. Wrocław University of Science and Technology requires documents to be translated into Polish or English:
– certified or drawn up by a sworn translator, or
– certified by the competent consul of the Republic of Poland residing in a given country.
