In addition to traditional preparatory courses, every year Wroclaw University of Technology launches correspondence courses in mathematics and physics. It is enough to download a current list of tasks prepared by specialists of our university, complete them and send by post to the specified address. Each participant will receive examples of answers to the tasks, will be able to review the errors he/she has made and will be given guidance on what an optimal solution should look like. The assessment will also take into account the editorial style, clarity and accuracy of writing, aesthetics and the correct choice of drawings and illustrations. Participation in the course is free of charge (except for postage).

If you are worried about your matriculation exams or want to maximise your chances of getting into your dream field of study, you can take advantage of the wide offer prepared by Wrocław University of Science and Technology.
It’s certainly worth it, because after all, as Ernest Rutherford, the discoverer of the atomic nucleus, said, “all science is either physics or stamp collecting.”
PREPARATORY COURSE IN PHYSICS
Attending the course, you will be able to repeat the material and correct any deficiencies, as well as gain self-confidence and overcome psychological barriers related to technical studies. The course is taught by professors of Wrocław University of Science and Technology in the winter semester (from October to February).
Detailed information about the preparatory course and the schedule of classes can be found on the website.
PREPARATORY COURSE IN MATHEMATICS
Secondary school graduate, if you:
- are planning to take the Maturity exam also at advanced level, which gives you qualification points (e.g., for the application process at Wrocław University of Science and Technology) and the chance to get into the faculty of your dreams,
- are going to study a programme which involves mathematics,
- want to overcome stress, psychological barriers to decision-making, gain knowledge, bridge gaps, gain freedom and confidence before Maturity exam or higher education,
then you should invest in yourself today and take up the offer of the Intensive Matriculation Course in MATHEMATICS offered by the Faculty of Pure and Applied Mathematics.
LECTURES IN PHYSICS
Lecturer: Prof. dr hab. Ewa Popko
Course’s website: http://oze.pwr.edu.pl/kursy/fizyka/fizyka.html
Wrocław University of Science and Technology has published a Physics 1 course on its YouTube channel and on the WUST Online Educational Resources.
The lectures and experiments were conducted by Professor Ewa Popko, Faculty of Fundamental Problems of Technology. The whole course consists of 82 lecture chapters and 16 experimental chapters, covering a range of key topics from the Physics 1 course.
The course functions as a teaching support for students and candidates for studies at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology.
EXERCISES IN PHYSICS 1

Prepared by: Dział E-learningu PWr
On the website of WUST Online Educational Resources, the E-learning Department has published the course “Exercises in Physics 1”, which is an interactive set of tasks. The topics of the tasks cover Vector Calculus, Kinematics, Dynamics, Work, Power and Energy, Dynamics of a system of material points. The course has been enriched with animations, exercises and short review tests, which aim to strengthen the reader’s involvement in the learning process and increase the level of understanding of the new content. Both students taking the Physics 1 course and candidates for studies can tackle the presented tasks.
MATHEMATICAL ANALYSIS LECTURES 1
Lecturer: doc. dr Janusz Górniak
Course website: http://oze.pwr.edu.pl/kursy/analiza/analiza.html
Mathematical Analysis 1 lectures, which were prepared and conducted by Associate Professor Janusz Górniak from the Department of Applied Mathematics, Faculty of Pure and Applied Mathematics, on YouTube channel and on the WUST Online Educational Resources.
The Mathematical Analysis 1 lectures were produced by Styk Student Television. The whole series consists of ninety episodes (films), discussing a number of key issues from the Mathematical Analysis 1 subject.

Opracowanie: Dział E-learningu PWr
The “Lectures on Mathematical Analysis 1” are complemented by a series of recordings entitled “Mathematical analysis 1 – task set with solutions” is available on the Online Educational Resources website of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology.
The author of the task set and the person solving the tasks is Associate Professor Janusz Górniak from the Faculty of Pure and Applied Mathematics, and the recordings were made by the E-learning Department of WUST. The content is addressed to students of technical fields of studies, as well as to students and enthusiasts of mathematics. In 44 chapters Associate Professor Janusz Górniak presents solutions to 290 tasks in differential and integral calculus. Each of the episodes has a practical table of contents which makes it easier to move to further examples (tasks with solutions) or to a compendium of necessary knowledge.

The E-learning department has published the course “Mathematical analysis 1 – exercises”. The course is a collection of over 800 interactive tasks with solutions. The course covers the subject of Mathematical Analysis 1, i.e., Investigation of function variation, Indeterminate and indeterminate integrals and their applications, and at the same time provides an opportunity to improve and complement the knowledge of such branches of mathematics as Logic, Operations with real numbers, Functions, Lines, Limits, Continuity of functions, Derivatives.
The method of presenting the tasks, explaining step by step how to solve a given issue together with animations, interactive tasks and quizzes helps to increase the learner’s motivation and positively influences the process of learning.
