The following individuals may enrol and follow education pursuant to the principles applicable to Polish citizens:

    • foreigners who have been granted a permanent residence permit (zezwolenie na pobyt stały),
    • foreigners who possess the status of refugee granted in Poland,
    • foreigners who have been granted temporary protection in the territory of Poland,
    • migrant workers who are nationals of a Member State of the European Union or a member state of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) – a party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area or the Swiss Confederation as well as members of their families if residing on the territory of the Republic of Poland,
    • foreigners who have been granted in the territory of Poland a European Community long-term residence permit,
    • foreigners who have been granted in the territory of Poland a fixed-term residence permit pursuant to the circumstances referred to in Article 127, Article 159 section 1 or Article 186 section 1 subsections 3 or 4 of the Act on Foreigners,
    • foreigners who have been granted a complementary protection in the territory of Poland,
    • citizens of the member states of the European Union, the member state of the European Free Trade Agreement (EFTA) – parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area or the Swiss Confederation as well as members of their families having the right of permanent residence (prawo stałego pobytu).
    • in connection with Article 507 of the Act on Foreigners the following documents will be also taken into consideration:
      1) a fixed-term residence permit pursuant to the circumstances referred to in Article 53, section 1, subsections 7, 13 and 14 of the Act of 13 June 2003 on Foreigners (Dziennik Ustaw from 2011, No. 264, item 1573), and
      2) a residence permit (zezwolenie na osiedlenie się).

    Foreigners who apply for admission to study at WUST on the same terms as applicable to Polish citizens can be admitted to a particular field of study within the limits of admission applicable at the University and determined by the Senate for a particular academic year, with respect to additional requirements specified in Polish provisions.
